A New Chapter: Following the call of Earth
Updated: Jun 18

As June comes to a close, I find myself standing at the threshold of a new chapter.
Together, my dog Sophie and I are embarking on a cross-country camping journey to Mount Shasta, a place often referred to as the Root Chakra of the Earth. This journey is about far more than reaching a destination—it’s about answering a call from the land, trusting the unknown, and opening myself to new opportunities, deeper connections, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Over the years, my work has centered primarily around massage therapy. While bodywork will always hold a sacred place in my heart, I feel called to expand my focus toward creating community, holding space for transformation, and sharing the many gifts and teachings I have gathered along my path.
My vision is to bring people together through healing experiences that reconnect us to ourselves, one another, the Earth, and something greater than ourselves.
During the month of July, I will be based in Portland, Oregon and available for private sessions, events, collaborations, and community offerings.

Beyond Mount Shasta, I feel called to continue visiting sacred sites throughout the world, including the energetic chakra points of the Earth. These journeys are not simply about travel; they are invitations to listen more deeply, to learn from the wisdom of the land, and to remember our connection to the living world.
Nature has always been one of my greatest teachers. The mountains, rivers, forests, and open skies remind me how to slow down, return to my heart, and trust the unfolding path ahead. When I am in communion with the natural world, I feel a profound sense of healing, belonging, and connection—not only with myself, but with the unseen forces that guide and support us.
As I step into this next season, my intention is simple: to stay heart-centered, follow what feels aligned, and share what I have learned along the way.
I don’t know
exactly where the road will lead after Portland, and for the first time in a long while, I’m allowing that uncertainty to feel exciting rather than frightening.
For now, I am choosing trust.
Trust in the journey.
Trust in the Earth.
Trust in the wisdom of the heart.
With gratitude,
Kelly Murphy
